TTRNA making Home Ownership possible 1

TTRNA has been assiduously working to provide new benefits for our growing membership. Previously we were in discussions with the former Minister of Housing – Honourable Randall Mitchell and officials of HDC. The ability of members accessing public sector housing was at the forefront of those talks. Unfortunately, the Minister was removed after a cabinet reshuffle and replaced with the new Minister of Housing – Edmund Dillon. Mr. Dillon has neither acceded to our request for a meeting, nor has he followed up on the advance proposals started under his predecessor.

Despite these setbacks, TTRNA has continued to search for alternatives within the private sector and is pleased to announce the partnership between TTRNA and TATIL. This partnership, signed on Wednesday 28th August 2019 at the TATIL building. It will allow members the opportunity to access residential mortgages with TATIL at a 5% interest rate for private or public sector homes. In addition, members will gain from a number of other value-added benefits.

Furthermore, TTRNA is in discussions with Home Solutions Limited, building and construction company as we encourage nurses acquiring home ownership. Our target is particularly in their East Lake development which is a gated community located off of Tumpuna Road, Arima. This housing development is well-constructed and reasonably priced. Prices range from 950k for apartments to 1.3 million for single unit homes. TTRNA encourages members to seize this opportunity as many of the units are already sold-out. Visit the Home Solutions website for more information on the East Lake development. TTRNA will be working with our members to ensure they are able to access same if they so choose.

Come into the Association or TATIL, for more information and let's guide you to homeownership!
