Nurses have had a bittersweet 2017 but 2018 is going to be one of action to bring their employer in line with proper industrial relations practices.
Speaking with CTV, President of the Registered Nurses Association, or TTRNA, Idi Stuart said he is preparing his rank and file to deal with instances of discourtesy and disrespect from the government and RHAs.
He is warning the NCRHA and by extension their CEO to be aware that they will be taking strong action against this in the new year.
The TTRNA boss has also criticised the Ministry of Health. He said one of the most important parts of healthcare is prevention and this country is not doing enough to keep people from getting ill.
